Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering and a Master’s in Management Information Systems.
Started on the technical side working with companies like AT&T and Accenture and brands like Disney and Warner Brothers building e-commerce websites and digital apps
With an entrepreneurial bug, I built my first startup at 25 called Fill the Bill, which was a social networking website to connect non-profit organizations in India with volunteers and donors. My second one was called Bond, which was a mobile app that reminded you to keep in touch with people. Was featured on ABC news, BBC, Webby's, and other media outlets.
Moved from tech to digital marketing while working on my startups. Got into pure e-commerce when I joined, one of the largest manufacturers of private label teas and spices in the US, and helped them build the e-commerce business for their own brands of teas, coffees and kombucha. Helped them scale website sales for 2 of their brands from $0-40K/mo and their Amazon business from $400K to $1.2M a year in 2 years.
After working with a few marketing agencies and having a less than ideal experience, I saw an opportunity to go independent and start my own consulting. Since going independent, I've had an opportunity to work with some great brands, like Vegepod, Califia Farms and others to help them build and grow their e-commerce businesses.
My goal is to continue working with brands I believe in and feel passionate about and help them build successful businesses online.
